Makerspaces allow students to take control of their own learning as they take ownership of projects they dream about, design, build and create. A vital tangent in this process is the ability to learn from failure as a step towards eventual success. At the same time, students often appreciate the hands-on use of emerging technologies and a comfortable acquaintance with the kind of experimentation that leads to a completed project.

We are Karla Koop and Mary Jones, owners of MaKr U, Certified Texas Teachers and your best choice for a party brought to you. Sure, you can rent a bouncy house, but nowhere else will you find a fun and educational experience that will come to your house and provide a supervised one and a half hour experience. We provide a vast array of technology gadgets to help kids play and learn. Want to build party favors on our bus? We can customize the event just for your child.

As Certified Texas Teachers we are certainly qualified to participate in your events that promote parent participation and excitement about learning at your campus. We offer engaging “drive throughs” where students and parents can enjoy a hands-on experience with many emerging technologies.
If you are more interested in an “in-depth” experience, we create custom take home packs where students and parents can visit the bus to get started and complete the project together at home after your event.
We also offer “stay-cations” where we bring the bus to your campus for a full day and provide any STEAM Experience that you would like.
